About Illinois Prairie Spinners

Illinois Prairie Spinners was organized in the fall of 1982 by several members of the Joliet Weavers Guild (now called Illinois Prairie Weavers). Membership in the group is open to anyone interested in spinning.

Nine meetings per year are held, usually on the fourth Saturday of the month. There is no meeting in December and usually not in July. Unless otherwise announced, all meetings begin at 10 a.m. As of January 2019, most in-person meetings are held at the Warrenville Public Library (28W751 Stafford Pl., Warrenville, IL 60555), but verify the program location before coming. Some meetings are being held via Zoom. Dues are $20 for the calendar year.

A newsletter is published as needed during the year. You may request a sample newsletter or submit newsletter contributions by Copyrighted submissions can't be republished without written permission from the copyright owner.
